Mas du Petit Grava is
a three hundred-year-old country house on seven acres of land, located in
the heart of Provence near the Roman cities of Arles and Saint Remy where
Van Gogh created many of his most famous paintings. Mas du Petit Grava is
surrounded by gardens and orchard that provide most of the fruits,
vegetables, herbs and flowers used within it. The Mas is an ideal place to
spend a few restful days or to use as a base from which to visit Southern
France's quiet villages, busy cities and incomparable beaches.
There is a swimming
pool and gym along with bikes and walking trails for exercise. For quiet
times, the Mas has an extensive music and reading library. There are also
two living rooms, a dining room and a kitchen, an office, a library with a
grand piano and an atrium, which is used for receptions and large parties.
Breakfast and an evening cocktail hour are complementary. Dinners are
available to guests by reservations at additional cost.
Rooms are spacious,
comfortaable and furnished with antiques from the area. Bedrooms in the Mas
have private bathrooms. The adjoining cottage has two bedrooms, shared bath,
living room and kitchen.
Rates from 90,- to 120,- per night including breakfast, based on room type. A minimum stay of
2 nights is required. The cottage is available from 550,- per week.
